The face of the judiciary in Harris County has changed. With this historic sweep, We have lost great jurists Marc Carter being first on my list but, there are many others. We have also lost some real scoundrels. I have been impressed with some of the judges that won in the blue wave. Notably, I was in trial in front of Hazel Jones and was pleased by her fairness. While I am certain that some of the new judges will be bad apples hopefully the new group of judges will bring with them a desire to protect the rights of the accused and compassion in sentencing.
